When aunt Rosemarie was about 17, she came to France where my father was stationed with the U.S. Army to help her sister Luise with babysitting her 6 children. I was about 9 at the time, so most of my memories are about playing games, exploring the Chateau grounds and playing on the riverbank. She was like a big sister to me and my siblings and we all loved her. We cried when she had to return home. She will live forever in my heart and memories.
